[The Toybox Collab]

Really fun little collab that was put on my radar by an ambitious artist who tackles projects like one eats candies lol

I still haven't found my girl in here but it's such an interesting idea and kudos for going ahead and making it a reality.

Pros:
-All the designs are so fun to discover
-so many new artists to follow...
-I'm addicted to chance games :|
- Keep gacha games away from me
-The idea of putting things in gift boxes is neat xD
-forgot to add that the music loop is actually a bop lmfao
-I keep the 500$ for me and TAKE YOUR LUNCH MONEY.

Cons:
-The claw machine itself could have had more visual interest added to it (the joystick moving in the direction for example)
- More things to see when pulling toys because the "game" loop is the same. Stuff like say
changing details of the background, some animations playing when uncovering some toys, or even fake physic based animation be it for the speed of movement affecting the claw or toys falling off like in the real thing!

All in all, 200+ participants is crazy to work with and I don't think you saw it coming xD

[Fruity Tower]

amazing game, again qwerty locked. BUT found an alt way. Took some used to. minus one full star both for this and a weird glitch on my end where sounds and music somehow cuts randomly and comes back only when either umping out the fruit-lding or at random!

edit: beat the game, the medals not unlocking is known issue so it's fine, reloaded thinking maybe there would be a secret after the menu changed but sadly only took me back to before the save lolololol, I dislike bullet hells because my hand eye coordination is terminally non existent, but awesome game that allows for non bullet-hellers to enjoy the ride like t r ue g ame r s. Also the art and silly puntastic humour are <3

[Orderless: New Skies]

Amazing looking Art. Well animated. Cool music... Unplayable demo on my end because it defaults to Qwerty and settings aren't available in the demo. I know NG Is an american site but a lil prayer for Azerty bretherns even if it's in the form of allowing for hotkey remapping is always hot. (Unless there's a manip I'm unaware of)

[Fantasy Madness: Bloodbath]

Addicting af af! Music is pretty nice given it repeats a bunch ^^ it's very fun! The graphics are ok for this sort of game! Thhe announcer voice is amazing found myself playing several times to try different combinaisons and see their final evolutions lmfao, armed with upgrades I had a run where I reached the shaman boss in 11 minutes but lost because I got too cocky lmfaoo

Cool game, though sometimes sfx would play on loop as if enemies were stuck on their attack animation out of sight!

Beat the Shaman boss in elimination mode..74 minutes (the 3rd play) time sunk with no regret lolol and the game isn't even done yet!! I've tried the rest since and it's an amazing time sinker (sidenote: I suck at enemy swarm games but this one felt nice, had fun seeing what each effect does and killing many at once felt satisfying xD)

Agreed with GoldenPigames below. Fun concept, Nice music and visuals, cute cat and the details like the cursor being a laser pointer are nice! All of it being done in 10 days is awesome! However even if controls being terrible is the point of the gimmick, the line between challenging and annoying is a wobbly thin one :0

Note (before anyone thinks I'm a rage quitter xD): I'm terrible at games, but I'm the type to throw myself over and over at them until I suceed! Didn't feel like doing that with ScatterPaws because the controls are o i l, but had a "aw c'mon try again" moment before closing the page, tried again and won lol (still feel the same about the game though!)

[BIMSY'S BOUNTY]

really cute game, I loved Bimsy in the shrimpazing shrimp.OS so I had to check it out lol, this style of pixel art has something very charming to it. would have made for a fun pass time mobile game

side note couldn't figure out how to murder the flies efficiently hahaha

[Pico's School]

Never played the game before today... I didn't even know I'd find it on Newgrounds (did not grow up with it) to tell you how little it was on my mind.
Someone I knew was riled up by the "problematic featuring of Pico" in Fnf and after playing what he came from all I can think of is "Is this what got your feathers ruffled"? people are built different Ig :q.

To talk about the game itself: the fact that it actually gives you choices for some minor side stuff was a good surprise; it's varied in its boss fights (even if the mechanic of clicking to shoot is repetitive it's short and there's an attempt to switch things up a bit, so no issue here), the day setting in the BG as you progress and the easter eggs are all nice touches.Would have liked even more interactive stuff but with the lenght of the game, it's well enough.

For something that came out in 1999 made by an edgy teenager... it really doesn't feel that old in terms of visuals (to me), flash aesthetic really is a nostalgic thing. 4 stars for the shit eating grin I had while witnessing the absurdity (in a fun way)~
